Navigating Fraim

Edited

Fraim is designed to minimise distraction and maximise value. Here are some important concepts that will help you get the most from Fraim.

Home screen

Navigation from the Home Screen is designed to quickly connect you to Fraim spaces without diving into menus.

There are four options visible on the home screen: Z Actions, O Island, D settings and + capture

Actions

Actions are used to get Fraim to carry out specific coordination activities for you. With Actions, you can set up questions, announcements, and other important information to will appear in the Morning Briefs of selected recipients. Actions take critical coordination messages out of crowded inboxes and threads, and delivers them at the right time.

It’s important to know that Actions are not instant messages or emails that send immediately. They are set to appear in the Morning Brief of recipients, so the message gets across at the right time without disrupting the day.

Fraim currently ships with four Actions: Thank Colleague (Kudos), Send Survey, Make Announcement and Create Goal.

Thank Colleague (Kudos)

Give kudos, say thanks or show appreciation to a colleague. It’s a simple and powerful way to boost your teams.

Send Survey

Ask one or more questions to a select group. When the Morning Brief closes at 10am, you will receive a summary of responses and be able to query details. You can choose whether the results are private (only you can view them) or public (all participants can view them).

Make Announcement

Cut through the noise and ensure important information gets to your audience. Announcements can be directed to an individual, a team, or the entire company.

Create Goal

If a new opportunity or priority emerges, Fraim provides an opportunity for anyone to suggest a new goal. Fraim will guide you through the process, and streamline feedback with your manager to review and approve.

Set Team Priorities

for managers

Have priorities changed? Managers can easily set and adapt them within Fraim, and they will automatically cascade to the right people.

Strategy

Fraim supports executives to set company strategy, and managers to set team specific strategy. Priorities are automatically cascaded to the relevant teams, and guide the creation of aligned goals.

Fraim ensures that all users have a clear understanding of strategy, keeping employees informed, engaged and aligned.

Island

In Fraim, you navigate between 4 main spaces. Click on the Island to navigate between the Conversations, Tasks, Notes and Goals spaces.

Conversations (Home Screen)

New Conversations appear on the Home Screen. If you have multiple conversations attend, they can be selected from the Island at the top of the Home Screen.

Tasks Space

In Fraim, Tasks are items of work that can ideally be achieved in a day. Tasks form the day-to-day building blocks of longer term goals. When you complete a public Tasks, it is automatically linked to its goal. Over time, Fraim forms a picture of how your goals are progressing, and offers insights to help you stay focused and aligned.

Keep track of all your personal and work-related tasks in the Fraim Task Space.

Set tasks to public or private. Private tasks can't be seen by anyone else. As you check off public tasks Fraim links them to your goals, building a picture of your activity and areas of focus.

Notes Space

Use Notes to save thoughts, ideas and conversations.

Goals Space

Fraim works as a framework for coordinating day-to-day activities around Goals. Fraim supports each person to set goals with AI-assistance and streamlined feedback to align them with the broader organisational strategy.

Fraim checks the alignment of all Goals across the organisation in a united Goal Space, ensuring coherence and identifying conflicts or duplications. The Goal Space is where you can view the goals that you and your team are working towards.

Conversations

Fraim has no spreadsheets or tables to fill out; no tagging or complex data entry.

Instead, you interact with Fraim using simple, natural language chat, simply typing or voice-to-text. Fraim initiates short, AI-powered interactions at key moments of the day.

We call these interactions Conversations. These conversations weave together important announcements, questions and insights into short AI-powered engagements that are specific to each user.

There are four Conversation types: Morning Brief, Daily Reflection, Weekly Review and Manager Report*.
